Bruins-Canucks: Five thoughts from the third

1) People in Boston will hate Alex Burrows for the biting incident - and rightfully so - but the kid can also play hockey. A huge factor on the PP goal and he set up the game-tying strike for Daniel Sedin. He brings the same skillscuzzbag combo as Bard Marchand does for Boston. Should he have been suspended for tonight's game? That's a different story.

2) Daniel Sedin has been the best player on the ice over the first couple of games. Much more involved in the play and aggressive attacking the net than brother Henrik in the last two games.

3) Apparently there's some kind of misconception out there about what I said re: Mark Recch heading into tonight's game. So let me clarify: I was advocating that the Bruins take him off the power play in favor of some faster options against the Canucks. Never did I say that he should have been benched.

4) Don't have a lot of hope for overtime given the way things went in the third period.

5) Zdeno Chara getting beaten to a lot of pucks in the corner. Not a good sign.
