BOSTON --Tuukka Rask got his first start of the season on Mondayafternoon at the TD Garden, and while he made 35 saves and kept the Bruins inthe game for the most part, the Colorado Avalanche were able to strike late anddefeat the Bs 1-0.

The Avs scored the first and only goal of the game eightminutes into the third period, when Milan Hejduk took a Colorado face-off win inthe Bruins zone, stepped out front from the half-wall and beat Rask throughhis five-hole with a low wrister.

That would be all the Avalanche needed on this afternoon, asthey handed the Bs their second loss of the season.
