CSNNE.comLOS ANGELESHere are five thoughts from the third period of Bruins and Kings at the Staples Center with the Bs falling to the Kings by a 2-0 score at the Staples Center after 60 minutes of hockey.1)Turnovers, lack of physicality and few really good screens in front of the Kings net reveal a time that isnt playing without much in the way of energy or oomph. Thought this kind of two-game West Coast trip was a little odd, and it appears the Bs dont have their legs tonight.2)The Bruins are 0-for-3 on the power play with little flow in a Marc Savard-less world. This will be the most difficult adjustment without No. 91 around to help distribute the puck. One also has to wonder if part of the lifeless vibe to tonight's game has to do with the team learning of Savard's diagnosis in the hours leading up to puck drop.3)A serious lack of ice time for Blake Wheeler against the Kings tonight. Looks like the Bruins coaching staff isnt loving his game right at this point. The post-holidays hot streak is most definitely over.4)Twelve giveaways for the Bruins in a severe case of mismanaging the puck. That should be driving Claude Julien significantly crazy after allowing his team the morning off from a skate.5)Six shots on net for Jarret Stoll, who was active all over the ice for the Kings throughout the game.
