CSNNE.comBOSTONHere are five thoughts from the third period with the Bruins falling to the Sabres by a 4-2 score after 60 minutes of hockey that didnt exactly inspire at the TD Garden.1)Not one of Brad Marchands great games tonight. Three giveaways and little that was productive in the offensive end aside from some competitive penalty kills early in the game.2)Tyler Seguin relegated to the bench in the second half of the third period as the action quickened and intensified. The learning session continues for the 18-year-old, and none of the rookies really played all that well tonight.3)Not a great night for Steve Kampfer either, who was made to pay a couple of times for jumping up and getting involved in the play.4)Thomas Vanekhes pretty good.5)Bruins didnt own the third period tonight. Just a very blah game for the home team all around.
