CSNNE.comBOSTONHere are five thoughts from the third period with the Bruins taking the Thrashers down by a 3-2 score and clinching the Northeast Division.1)Tyler Seguin back with Rich Peverley and Chris Kelly in the third period, and he responds with a bull rush through Eric Boulton toward the Atlanta net in his first shift of the period. The kid definitely responds to the motivational tactics employed by the coach.2)Blake Wheeler doing yeomans work in terms of ice time by leading all forwards, but hes got two shots on net and not much influence on the game at all. Tough reception when his career with the Bruins was lauded on the jumbotron as it was greeted by half-hearted applause and some assorted boos.3)Zach Bogosian turnovers led to scores for both Daniel Paille and Michael Ryder. I know the Bruins have had some interest in the young defenseman in potential trade scenarios, but hes really not showing much right now.4)Good game from Michael Ryder today after showing glimpses against the Maple Leafs on Thursday night. Showed a little more of an all-around game when he stripped Zach Bogosian near the blue line and moved in for a breakaway before getting hauled down for a penalty shot. Ryder roofed the penalty shot attempt to snap a 12-game goal-scoring drought and made a statement about his desire for a seat at the playoff table.5)Big third period for Tuukka Rask with 13 saves after fighting the puck early.
