MINNEAPOLISThe Bruins have pored over the medical reports, and it appears only two Bs players will undergo surgical procedures after Boston played 107 grueling regular season and playoff games.Backup goaltender Tuukka Rask will have surgery for a torn meniscus in his knee that nagged at him throughout the season, and he should be back on his feet working out after a 5-7 day rehab period.Milan Lucic will also have sinus surgery to alleviate some breathing issues that the big power forward has experienced over the last few years stemming from a broken nose suffered against the Philadelphia Flyers during his rookie season four years ago.I hadnt mentioned it at my season-ending press conference, but Tuukka has to get his meniscus scoped. Its a minor arthroscopic procedure, so hell have it done and thats just 5-7 days, said Chiarelli. Lucic is having his nose re-set and then getting surgery on it, and thats it for Bruins requiring surgeries.Chiarelli said Nathan Hortons separated shoulder wouldnt need anything more than rest and rehabilitation to be ready for next seasonthough the Bs also havent done any of the medical testing on the right wing to see if hes fully recovered from the severe concussion suffered in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final. That may not happen until Horton reports for training camp a couple of months from now.
