Report: Milbury ‘interested in Bruins' coaching job'

With the Bruins likely missing the playoffs for the second year in a row, let the Claude Julien-out-and-who's-going-to-be-in speculation begin.

An NHL source tells Boston hockey writer Jimmy Murphy that Mike Milbury is interested in the Bruins' coaching job should the team part ways with Julien.

Murphy of dirtywatermedia.com also tweeted that it was no surprise that Milbury was calling for Julien's firing on NBC's NHL coverage Saturday. Milbury, 63,  is a former Bruins player (1975-87) and coach (1989-91), and also served as New York Islanders coach and GM. He's now an analyst for NBC and co-host of Cross Check on CSN with Michael Felger.
