Saturday, March 4: A playoff Battle of Alberta?

Share

Here are all the links from around the hockey world, and what I’m reading, while hoping to see “Logan” sooner rather than later.

*FOH (Friend of Haggs) Marc Spector has the Battle of Alberta rivalry potentially extending to the playoffs this spring, and wouldn’t that be awesome?

*The Philadelphia Flyers goaltending situation has always been a mess, continues to be a mess and will probably always be a mess moving forward.

*Speaking of goaltending messes, Carolina Hurricanes coach Bill Peters is not a big fan of Eddie Lack these days.

*Steve Ott hasn’t been a member of the Montreal Canadiens for very long, but he’s loving life with the Habs.

*Anthony Duclair has had a difficult sophomore season with the Arizona Coyotes, so he’s hoping to prove that he belongs there now.

*Dallas Stars owner Tom Gaglardi is fighting to find a cure for diabetes and is motivated by one extremely good reason, his son.

*Pierre Lebrun says that the expansion draft and a glut of goaltenders could create some chaos once trade season is back open again.

*For something completely different: "The Deadpool 2" teaser being played before "Logan" shows that the sequel shouldn’t lose much steam.
