Marc Savard didn't touch the ice during the Stanley Cup playoffs, but he still played a role in the team's success early on in the season, and throughout the years.

He'll get his time with the Cup on August 1, and he's taking it home to Peterborough, Ontario, where it will be on hand for the public to see at the Kawartha Invitational Golf Tournament, according to the town's radio station, Magic 96.7.

"NHL player and Boston Bruin, Marc Savard, a native of Peterborough and member at the club will be on hand to sign autographs as well as be available for photo opportunities prior to playing in the Kawartha Invitational Golf Tournament."
