Twelve Bruins participate in optional skate

WILMINGTON -- Bruins coach Claude Julien gave his team the option of skating on Tuesday at Ristuccia Arena, prior to taking off for New York for Wednesday night's game against the Rangers.

Twelve players decided to hit the ice. Those 12 include Marc Savard (post-concussion syndrome), Marco Sturm (knee), David Krejci (concussion), and Johnny Boychuk (broken left forearm). The eight active players are Tuukka Rask, Tyler Seguin, Jordan Caron, Brad Marchand, Gregory Campbell, Mark Stuart, Matt Hunwick and Adam McQuaid.
