Allen gives toenails a green paint job for Game 4

BOSTON -- Ray Allen donned a green pedicure prior to Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Miami Heat on Sunday night.

"The Celtics spirit, you've got to be in it," he said, then quickly put on a pair of socks to cover his toes.

The last time Allen received a green pedicure was during the 2010 playoffs when the Celtics reached the NBA Finals.

For those interested in his foot fashion, Allen did not know the name of the color other than it was by Essie.

Shifting gears from his toes to his ankle, Allen isn't trying to think too much about his nagging injury which has limited him during the playoffs. He scored 10 points in the Celtics Game 3 win.

"I try not to worry about it," he said. "I'm dealing with that I have to deal with. My focus is what we have here, paying attention to what they're doing, and improving on what we did. It's almost a time physically you've got to give whatever you can give."
