Forsberg: Marcus Smart should be untouchable when Celtics talk trade

There'll be a lot of trade rumors flying around the Boston Celtics between now and next week's NBA trade deadline, but ESPNBoston.com's Chris Forsberg says there's one name that better not surface in any of those rumors:

Marcus Smart.

"He's definitely an untouchable to me," Forsberg told Michael Felger on Sports Tonight after Smart turned in a career-high eight steals in the Celtics' 116-108 victory over the Sixers on Wednesday night. "And I would like to say I was [in] the Marcus Smart Fan Club, on the bandwagon, well before this stretch in February.

"Just this month, he's been other-worldly . . . Not only eight steals tonight, but he's like ripping the ball out of people's hands, he's tackling guys; I mean, there's just something about him. He's got these intangibles that you just can't teach.

"He's a difference-maker. You hear the phrase 'winning plays' all the time -- it'll be a hashtag for the Celtics at some point this season -- [and] he's on my list. Untouchable."
