ESPN announced Thursday that Paul Pierce will serve as a full-time NBA studio analyst for the network. Pierce will appear on “NBA Countdown” on ABC and ESPN as well as “The Jump” with Rachel Nichols.
The 39-year-old Pierce has made multiple appearances on “The Jump” since retiring and had previously done work with ESPN during the NBA Finals in 2016.
Pierce, who spent the first 15 years of his career with the Celtics and won a title with the team in 2008, signed a one-day contract with Boston in July to retire as a Celtic.
