So I was messing around on the ESPN Trade Machine this afternoon, trying to whip up something interesting for the Celticsand I think I'm on to something.
Something that will take this team back to its roots and restore that once indestructible sense of Celtic Pride:
It's a four-team trade between the Celtics, Jazz, Grizzlies and Thunder which results in the Celtics playing out the rest of the season with a starting five of Rajon Rondo, Tony Allen, Paul Pierce, Al Jefferson and Kendrick Perkins. With Avery Bradley, Jeff Green and Brandon Bass coming off the bench.
Here it is: Boom!
What?
No good?
OK, I'll get back to the drawing board and see what I can some up with. Pretty sure there's a way to pry Sebastian Telfair away from Phoenix and still have enough money to buy Ryan Gomes out of his contract in Germany.
