In the final minute of the Celtics' Summer League contest against the 76ers with Boston up by two points, the Celtics moved the ball quickly from Demetrius Jackson to Semi Ojeleye. No one seemed to want the shot. Then Tatum called for the ball, Ojelye found him, and Tatum made an athletic drive at the hoop for the layup.

The Celtics (3-0) went on to beat the 76ers, 88-83.

Tatum and Jabari Bird stepped up for the Boston Celtics after they lost Jaylen Brown to a non-serious thigh bruise. Tatum finished with 15 poins, six rebounds and two assists. Bird added 15 points and eight rebounds while shooting 70 percent from the field.

“A lot of other guys stepped up as well that may not have played as much in Utah and in Vegas before this,” Tatum said Tuesday, via Celtics.com. “For guys who do play a lot, you could see they were kind of fatigued right now. It’s great that our bench came in and helped us win this game.”

And on a night when 2017 third-overall pick played 33 minutes, Markelle Fultz, the No. 1 overall pick, played none. Phildelphia shut Fultz down after he suffered an ankle injury.

Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot led the 76ers with 16 points. He also added six rebounds and three assists.
