LeBron James has responded to the blockbuster that has shaken up the complexion of the Eastern Conference.

The Boston Celtics acquired Kyrie Ivring in a trade that sent Isaiah Thomas, Ante Zizic and the 2018 Brooklyn draft pick to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

After the blockbuster on Tuedsay night, James retweeted a video of a fan leaving a sign on Irving's jersey that said, "THANK U SO MUCH."

James also added a comment: "That's the only way to be to the kid! Special talent/guy! Nothing but respect and what a ride it was our 3 years together Young Gode #Filayy,"

Tensions between James and Irving appeared to be escalating over the summer. Irving wanted out of Cleveland so he could take on a larger role away from James, according to ESPN.com. Then reports surfaced that James leaked Irving's trade rumors. Irving also unfollowed James on Instagram.

And yet LeBron appears to be extending an olive branch now that Irving has left the building.
