The Celtics will have a new look starting lineup with Kelly Olynyk in for Amir Johnson.

Johnson, who has started more games than any other Celtic this season, is under the weather and will not play tonight.

Prior to tonight’s game, coach Brad Stevens explained why he decided to start Olynyk.

“Mostly because Kelly is our next big who plays the most minutes,” Stevens said. “We want to continue to try and play with the floor spaced and everything else.”

Olynyk will be making his sixth start of the season, with Boston posting a 3-2 record with him in the starting lineup.

This season, Olynyk has averaged 9.4 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game.

While his numbers are slightly better as a starter (10.0 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.0 assists), Olynyk isn’t quite as efficient scoring the ball.

For the season, he is shooting 51.5 percent from the field and 35.3 percent on 3’s.

As a starter this season, Olynyk’s shooting dips to just 40 percent from the field and 28.6 percent from 3-point range.
