Report: Garnett wants to know who he'll be playing with

Will he or won't he?

The question will hang in the air over Boston until Kevin Garnett makes a decision between retirement and an 18th year in the NBA.

One source told the Boston Herald that if KG does return, it'll likely be with the Celtics. But there's one condition: He wants to see who's going to be here before he decides on anything.

From the Herald:
"Kevin's very loyal, and he hates change. But I think it'd be hard for him to come back if it's a total rebuild. If he's going to play, he has to be playing for something. I think he'll wait to see what's going to happen. If Danny can give him a solid answer right away, then maybe he gives them an answer, too. But KG's going to want to know who he'll be playing with."

That puts Danny Ainge in a serious pickle. Does he make moves that he assumes will lure back KG? Or does he go about his business assuming Garnett won't return?
