Report: Thomas upset by trade, but 'fully committed' to Cavs, posts message to LeBron

Though Isaiah Thomas was upset to have been traded by the Celtics, he’s “fully committed” to playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Cleveland.com reports.

MORE:

Meanwhile, Thomas was spotted in Cavs gear by a fan whose mother apparently mistook the 5-foot-9 I.T. for a "kid."

Thomas posed with teenager Elijah LaBow in the point guard's hometown of Tacoma, Wash. He arrived in Cleveland on Sunday, reports Cleveland.com's Joe Vardon:

Thomas’ work back to the court will be overseen by Dr. James Rosneck, a renowned hip specialist at the Cleveland Clinic who works with the Cavs. Dr. Richard Parker, the team’s lead doctor and an orthopedic surgeon at the Clinic, will of course also be involved.

The Cavs want to see how Thomas responds after a week, and then through the month of September leading into training camp before they determine a timetable. Thomas elected not to have surgery and told ESPN this week surgery was not the best course of action. All indications point to Thomas missing at least a portion of the season.

Thomas' wife Kayla posted pictures of her husband checking out his new Cavs locker at their practice facility:

Thomas also posted this comment below, among the more than 1,200, on new Cavs teammate LeBron James' Instagram post of James' photo from Manila on his Asia tour.
