Rivers: Street talk? Or streak talk?

Rivers: Street talk? Or streak talk?

BOSTON It was a long, long night for both the Boston Celtics and the media that covers them on Sunday. So it's understandable if a question or two got lost in the translation following Boston's 118-114 triple overtime thriller.

Celtics coach Doc Rivers was asked about how Sunday's win ranked in the streak and Rivers thought he heard "street" instead.

That's when things got comical.

"On the street?" Rivers asked.

When clarified that the word in question was "streak," that didn't stop Rivers from delivering a Rivers-esque line.

"Oh. I thought there was some street talk. Let me ask the brothers. I'll get back to you," quipped Rivers.
