Stars, studs and duds: LeBron being LeBron

Share

BOSTON – Here are the stars, studs and duds from the Celtics 114-91 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers:

STARS
LeBron James: He delivered the kind of performance that reminds us all just how dominant a force he can be, when motivated. He led all scorers with 36 points to go with 10 rebounds and six assists.

Isaiah Thomas: The King of the Fourth never really got into any kind of flow or rhythm, courtesy of some really well-played defense by Cleveland. Still, Thomas wound up with 26 points, four rebounds and six assists.

Kevin Love: Defensive problems aside, Love was a major thorn in the Celtics’ side all game. He too had a double-double, scoring 15 points to go with a game-high 16 rebounds.

STUDS
Kyrie Irving:
He did all of his damage through the first three quarters, finishing with 19 points to go with five assists.

Al Horford: Other than Isaiah Thomas, Horford was the only other Celtics whose play on Wednesday was relatively consistent with what he normally does. Horford had 12 points and seven rebounds along with three assists.

DUDS
Avery Bradley: We have seen him struggle after missing games, but rarely have we seen AB as off as he was against the Cavs. He missed seven of his eight shots from the field and finished with just four points.
