BOSTON – For most of the preseason thus far, Jayson Tatum has drawn rave reviews for his potential this season.

Fans got a glimpse of the rookie’s potential upside on Sunday during the team’s open practice at the TD Garden which included a 3-point shooting contest won by … Jayson Tatum.

Tatum, selected by the Celtics with the No. 3 overall pick in last June's NBA draft, knocked off Gordon Hayward in the finals, after beating fellow rookie Guerschon Yabusele in the first round.

There was also a game of “Knock Out” which included head coach Brad Stevens who was among the last three or four shooters remaining before being knocked out by Jabari Bird.

A Skills Challenge was also held, with Marcus Smart emerging as the winner over Celtics newcomer Shane Larkin.
