Terry Rozier to miss Celtics final summer league game

Terry Rozier is out for the Celtics final summer league game against the Blazers because he has “nothing left to prove.”

That makes sense. Rozier has dominated this summer. But you conspiracy theorists are probably thinking there’s another reason for his absence. And maybe you're right.

Rumors are swirling around the Celtics' pursuit of Blake Griffin, among other stars and Sporting News’ Sean Deveney suggested the Kings are involved in a three-way trade. Sacramento needs a point guard, so perhaps the Celtics are icing Rozier to keep him healthy.

If that's the case, there’s no reason to risk putting Rozier in a position where he could get hurt.

But it's also possible he really doesn't have anything left to prove.

Stay tuned . . .
