“Make shots," said Mike Gorman. "I know that sounds like I’m stating the obvious, but they have to make threes and stay equal with Atlanta in that column. If they do that, I think they have a real good shot.”
The Celtics ranked 28th in three-point percentage this season, worse than teams like the 76ers, Timberwolves, and Nuggets. They're 26-17 when they shoot above their three-point percent average (33.5 percent), and only 22-17 when they're below it.
Cedric Maxwell believes the key is stopping Paul Millsap, who scorched the Celtics this season
"They need to at least slow him up with the basketball and make him do something else," said Maxwell.
