As if Pablo Sandoval’s season was bad enough . . . it’s about to get a whole lot worse.
Ethan Banning, the owner of Triple Threat Performance and trainer for Sandoval in 2011 and 2012, revealed to the Boston Herald’s Evan Drellich that Sandoval needs a "baby sitter” to keep his weight issues under control.
“I care about him greatly,” Banning said. “But it’s a tough love. He needs to be smart enough to say there’s problem. It’s like the alcoholic that won’t admit he’s an alcoholic: well, you can’t address that you’re an alcoholic if you don’t ever admit there’s a problem. He’s got to address that.”
