NBC: Aceves has top all-time winning percentage

After last night's 16th inning win, Alfredo Aceves has the best winning percentage of all pitchers with at least 20 decisions in the history of Major League Baseball.

From NBC's Hardball Talk:

With the victory Aceves improved to 19-2 for his career, which is a .905 winning percentage...Of course, by making the cutoff just 20 decisions the whole list is basically filled with pitchers like Aceves, who while very effective werent exactly Cy Young contenders.

Still, Aceves has earned 19 wins and two losses through 189.1 innings, a rate of more than one win for every ten innings, and approximately one loss for every 95.

Aceves's record is 4.8 better than that of the next name on the list, Luis Aloma, who pitched all four of his Major League seasons with the Chicago White Sox, starting one game and amassing an 18-3 record.
