Andrew Benintendi went 2-for-3 with a home run, and Matt Dominguez and Junior Lake each added two hits in the Red Sox' 12-5 exhibition loss to the Orioles in Sarasota on Wednesday.

Henry Owens had another tough outing, dropping to 0-2 after allowing four hits, three walks and four runs in two innings. Newly acquired reliever Tyler Thornburg -- who said after pitching poorly on Satuday that he always starts slowly in spring training -- was roughed up again, allowing four runs on three hits and a walk in two-third of an inning. Matt Barnes and Joe Kelly each pitched a scoreless inning.

The Red Sox have now lost four straight and are 1-5 in exhibition play.
