Report: Giants considering trade for Red Sox' Pablo Sandoval

Back in May, Dave Dombrowski said Pablo Sandoval was “committed to getting ready” for 2017 after his season was ended by shoulder surgery.

But that doesn’t guarantee he’ll be with the Boston Red Sox.

Sandoval’s former team, San Francisco Giants, have reportedly considered trading for the former World Series MVP, according to Evan Drelich of the Boston Herald.

Sandoval, 30, is entering the third season of a five-year, $95 million contract. In his lone full season in Boston, 2015, Sandoval hit .245/.292/.366 with 10 homers and 47 RBI.
