Morning Skate: Jones and Millbury agree that Marchand should be able to play on the edge

Here are all the links from around the hockey world, and what I’m reading while you know it’s late in the regular season when the Bruins are visiting the Blackhawks for the Sunday afternoon matinee on NBC Network.

*ESPN takes a look at which current goaltender would be the one to pick in the NHL in order to win one theoretical, all-important game. Many names were mentioned including Pekka Rinne, Andrei Vasilevskiy and Sergei Bobrovsky. One that was not? Tuukka Rask. Hmmm…interesting. I wonder why that is.

*Keith Jones and Mike Milbury say that Brad Marchand should be able to play on the edge, and I absolutely agree with them.

*After a decent season this year, it’s due for Sidney Crosby to start exploding with one of those scoring runs for the Pittsburgh Penguins.

*Eric Staal visits with the Hockey Night in Canada crew for their “After Hours” program where they break things down a little more deeply with the players.

*Here’s an article that touts Taylor Hall’s candidacy for the Hart Trophy by attacking the candidacy of everybody else in the running. I’ll take a hard pass.

*For something completely different: A fun look at where the cast of “Scott Pilgrim vs. the World” is now while realizing just how much star power there was in that movie that was way, way ahead of it’s time.
