Morning skate: Looking at NHL's top 30 free agents

Here are all the links from around the hockey world, and what I’m reading while definitely not engaging in any boycotts of the Peter Rabbit movie.

*It certainly appears that Travis Green is the right guy to be developing prospects and dealing with veteran players like the Sedins in his first full season guiding the Vancouver Canucks.

*Good piece on FOH (Friend of Haggs) Brian Boucher, who is a rising star in the broadcast world while heading over to South Korea for Olympic coverage.

*Big news on TMZ where Justin Bieber took off in a pimped out Lamborghini after playing some pickup hockey in the LA-area.

*Good stuff with legendary UNH hockey coach Dick Umile getting honored last weekend as one of the founding fathers of Hockey East.

*Also a cool moment last weekend with Ryan Reaves getting the video tribute treatment after returning to the Blues for the first time as a member of the Pittsburgh Penguins.

*It looks like the Buffalo Sabres will be without Jack Eichel for a while after he suffered a high ankle sprain in that tumble into the boards over the weekend against the Bruins.

*The Hockey News takes a look at the top-30 unrestricted free agents planning to hit the market this summer.

*For something completely different: People are calling for a boycott of the “Peter Rabbit” movie because of its treatment of a character with a food allergy…a villain in the story, no less. Clearly life-threatening food allergies are a serious issue to the families that face them. But how about instead of a boycott people use it as a teaching moment for their kids that it’s something they should never, ever do? Wouldn’t that be more productive and useful for all parties involved rather than railing against CGI bunnies for bullying? Aren't kids movies like Peter Rabbit exactly what spurs these kinds of conversations between parents and their children? People really need to stop trying to boycott, or getting outraged about, everything under the sun.
