Patrice Bergeron to miss time with Bruins

Patrice Bergeron will miss at least a couple of weeks, and possibly more, after suffering a fractured right foot with a puck that hit his foot in last weekend’s loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs. Bergeron was able to play 19 plus minutes in that night’s loss to the Maple Leafs, and then played in Sunday’s loss to the Buffalo Sabres as well while clearly favoriting the foot at times.

But now Bergeron will miss at least two weeks, and will be evaluated at that point with the possibility he could miss even more time while healing from the fracture. We’ll have more on this story as it develops after Riley Nash was skating in place of No. 37 at Tuesday morning’s practice…
