Celtics open Vegas schedule with win

Celtics top pick Jared Sullinger and second-round pick Kris Joseph each scored 14 points to lead the Celtics to a 87-69 victory over the Atlanta Hawks in the opener of the Las Vegas portion of their NBA Summer League schedule.

Sullinger, the forward out of Ohio State and 21st pick overall, continued his strong summer league play. He's averaging 11 points in six summer league games. The first five were in Orlando. Joseph matched Sullinger with 14 and his former Syracuse teammate, center Fab

Melo, the No. 22 pick, had seven points and five rebounds in 18 minutes.
