Irving exits game with knee soreness

BOSTON – The bodies continue to fall for the Boston Celtics as they had to play most of the second half of tonight’s game without leading scorer Kyrie Irving. 

Team officials said Irving, who had seven points in 16 minutes against Indiana, had left knee soreness and was not returning. 

It’s the second time in less than a month that left knee soreness has sidelined the five-time all-star. 

Boston was already playing without Jaylen Brown (concussion) and Al Horford (sick).
