Isaiah: No regrets playing through hip injury for Celtics in 2017 playoffs

Say what you will about Isaiah Thomas, but you can't say the former Celtics guard didn't give his all in Boston.

Thomas played through a torn hip labrum during the Celtics' 2017 postseason, all while mourning the death of his sister, Chyna. When asked by Tania Ganguli of the L.A. Times whether he regretted playing through such adversity after the C's traded him, I.T. said he didn't, as he was going through something "way bigger than basketball" and "basketball was the only thing that could numb that at that point in time".

Isaiah didn't just play through injury, he dominated. In 15 games played during the 2017 playoffs, I.T. averaged 23.3 points and 6.7 assists per game.
