Ray Allen puts onus on KG, Rondo in rift

Ray Allen told Dan Patrick on Wednesday that Kevin Garnett and Rajon Rondo "have issues with me" and he's "never had an issue with any of those guys" speaking of his teammates on the 2008 NBA champion Celtics.

"When I left Boston, I started learning I was a problem in the locker room," Allen told Patrick. "That made me all of a sudden this villain. I don't ever feel like I was ever a problem in any locker room I was in."

Allen, promoting his new book, "From the Outside: My Journey Through Life And The Game I Love", said he had a chance to sit down with Pierce and mend fences. "Paul and I have talked it out," he said.

"I've never had an issue with any of those guys," Allen said. "It was always brought to my attention that there was an issue.  The other two [Garnett and Rondo], it's their issues with me. I don't have any issues with them. Once we moved on, I let bygone be bygones."

Allen's comments are very much in line with those he made this past winter on NBC Sports Boston's Celtics Talk Podcast about a possible 2008 reunion and whether there's animosity among him and his former teammates.
