From Comcast SportsNet
OMAHA, Nebraska (AP) -- College basketball player Marcus Jordan, the son of retired NBA great Michael Jordan, was arrested in Omaha early Sunday following a disturbance outside a downtown hotel. According to a news release, police responding to a call at the Embassy Suites found hotel security trying to subdue Marcus Jordan, who was having an argument with two women in the hotel driveway. The release said Jordan was "very animated, intoxicated and uncooperative," and it took multiple officers to control and handcuff him. Jordan was booked at the Douglas County Department of Corrections for resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and obstructing. He had been released by Sunday night. Jordan, a rising senior, averaged 13.7 points a game for University of Central Florida last season.

Agent says Gordon Hayward is unlikely to return this season

Gordon Hayward had surgery on his left ankle Wednesday night.

While there was hope he could return, Hayward's agent told Adrian Wojnarowski that the Celtics forward is unlikely to play for the remainder of the season.

MORE:

Hayward suffered a dislocated ankle and fractured tibia in the first quarter of Boston’s 102-99 loss at Cleveland on Tuesday.

The 6-foot-8 All-Star landed awkwardly on his ankle after a lob pass by Kyrie Irving was deflected by LeBron James.

“We’re expecting this to be a full recovery,” Celtics head coach Brad Stevens said Wednesday, “No timeline on it but a full recovery.”
