NBA players respond to Green news

When the news that Jeff Green will miss the entire 2011-12 season to repair an aortic aneurysm was announced on Saturday morning, the Twitter universe exploded with sentiments of concern and care.

Green Tweeted an uplifting message, I'm on the pursuit of awesomeness, excellence is the bare minimum, before the announcement.

He later sent a tweet of appreciation for all the support: Thank u everyone for ur thoughts and prayers...much appreciated love u all..and I'll be back soon stronger and better than ever I promise.
