Belichick sticks to his no comment on Floyd's arrest, BAC level

The fact Michael Floyd had a blood-alcohol content of .217 when he was arrested last week in Arizona did not prompt further commentary from Bill Belichick on Thursday.

Belichick stuck to his response that Floyd’s situation was in the legal system and that he couldn’t comment on it when asked about the BAC level, news of which was released on Wednesday.

Floyd refused a breathalyzer when stopped in Scottsdale and the toxicology was not returned until Wednesday, so no one knew just how impaired Floyd was when he was found snoozing behind the wheel of his SUV while stopped at a traffic light.

In Arizona, a BAC content above .20 will put an individual in line for a mandatory minimum sentence of 45 days in jail if the individual is found guilty of the charges. Floyd did not play last weekend for the Patriots but traveled with the team. He will likely be unveiled Saturday against the Jets.
