FOXBORO -- The Patriots were without their largest and most productive running back on the practice field Wednesday.
LeGarrette Blount was the lone Patriots player not spotted by reporters during the media-availability portion of their on-the-field work behind Gillette Stadium. Alan Branch, who was not seen during Tuesday's practice, was present.
Blount was present at practice on Tuesday, and he made an autograph appearance at the Square One Mall in Saugus on Tuesday night.
The Patriots will practice once more on Thursday in preparation for Saturday's Divisional Round matchup with the Texans.
