Tom Brady called Julian Edelman's circus catch in Super Bowl LI "one of the greatest" immediately after the fact. After a couple of days to digest everything that happened on Sunday against the Falcons, he took his praise for Edelman's ridiculous reception one step further.
"This is why we love sports, right? No dogma, no blind faith, no rules you have to buy into -- just attendance," Brady wrote on Instagram. "Show up, and miracles happen. People of every race, religion, ethnicity, political POV and lifestyle share a singular experience for a few hours and become one."
Brady and former Giants defensive end Michael Strahan teamed up to put together a six-part documentary called the "Religion of Sports" that aired beginning last fall. Maybe, with the biggest comeback in the Super Bowl now under his belt, Brady will be willing to produce a seventh installment.
