Know when you know you're doing pretty well for yourself? When you bring a bag full of championship rings to a party where you're about to pick up another one. And your supermodel wife is on your arm, carrying said bag.
Not bad, I guess.
That's exactly how it went for Tom Brady did last summer when Patriots players arrived at team chairman and CEO Robert Kraft's estate in Chestnut Hill for their Super Bowl ring ceremony. NFL Films recently released a video of the party that included a clip of Brady's arrival. As he was welcomed by Kraft, Brady pointed out that he had his wife, Gisele Bundchen, carry his three Super Bowl championship rings in her purse so that they were ready to go for photo opportunities throughout the night.
The video includes a variety of other tidbits, including the moment players like Vince Wilfork and Rob Gronkowski saw their rings for the very first time. Cameras also captured emotional reactions to receiving the rings from Julian Edelman and Gronkowski.
For Patriots fans who would like a reason to remember their team's historic run two seasons ago -- and thereby briefly forget how last season ended -- it's a must-see.
