Edelman found Blockbuster rental that was 12 years overdue

We've all been there before. You go back home to clean some things out of your childhood bedroom, and then you find a Blockbuster video game rental that is 12 years overdue.

OK so maybe that hasn't happened to you. Yet. But that's exactly what happened to Patriots receiver Julian Edelman recently, and he decided to commemorate the occasion with an Instagram post.

Though Edelman is one of a handful of Patriots who could argue he deserves a raise -- he's set to make $2.5 million in base salary in 2016 -- he shouldn't have any problem settling those late fees. His biggest issue may be finding a Blockbuster location that's still in business

He's got plenty of time. The Patriots offseason program doesn't begin until April 18, and their first OTA takes place on May 23.
