Roger Goodell isn't over it.

According to Pro Football Talk, the NFL commissioner is still frustrated that New England Patriots defensive coordinator Matt Patricia wore a barstool t-shirt as he got off the team's plane which took New England home after their win in Super Bowl LI. Patricia's shirt, which shows Goodell wearing a clown nose, can be seen in the tweet below.

Patrcia, who has been with New England since 2004 and has been their defensive coordinator since 2012, has been spotted more than one Barstool shirt. He also donned a shirt with the text, "The North Remembers," a reference to Deflategate stolen from the HBO Series "Game of Thrones."

The shirt may have interfered with Patricia's head coaching candidacy during the 2017 offseason, according to NFL Media's Jason La Canfora. Patricia was in the mix for the Chargers' coaching gig.

"It isn't always about the best guy or the smartest guy or whatever. There's politics involved in all of this, unfortunately. That's how it goes. And they're looking for reasons to knit pick and critique," La Canfora said on 98.5 The Sports Hub's "Toucher And Rich" in February. "And stupid stuff sometimes matters with these guys. Some owners won't care, but one or two will."

He added: "It shouldn't matter, but sometimes it is the 'No Fun League.'"
