Mara: Deflategate 2.0 'much ado about nothing'

Mara: Deflategate 2.0 'much ado about nothing'

As you may recall, there was once an incident in which a couple of teams and a certain league found out a team was playing with deflated footballs. It turned into something of a mess in which countless hours and millions of dollars were spent and a certain player missed a certain number of games.

Apparently the Giants aren’t like the Ravens and the Colts, as the team has joined the NFL in sweeping the Steelers’ deflation incident under the rug.

Tom E. Curran predicted as it was happening that few would pay any mind to the recent incident from the Giants-Steelers game, and on Wednesday Giants owner John Mara made his thoughts clear.

For those who missed Deflategate or were just just confused by the lede: The Patriots were docked $1 million, a first-round pick and a fourth-rounder for their ball-deflating incident. Tom Brady was suspended four games without pay.
