Patriots Hall of Fame finalists announced

The New England Patriots have announced Troy Brown and Fred Marion will join second time nominee Bill Parcells as finalists for the Patriots Hall of Fame.

Brown was drafted in the 8th round by the Patriots in 1993. He spent his entire 15-year career as a member of the Patriots, totaling 557 receptions, a franchise record, and 31 touchdowns. Brown was also a key contributor to Patriots title runs in 2001, 2003, and 2004.

Parcells was the head coach of the Patriots from 1993-1996. He lead them to their first playoff birth in eight years, and their second ever Super Bowl appearance. Parcells is the first head coach to ever be nominated for the Patriots Hall of Fame.

Marion spent his entire 10-year career in New England after being drafted out of Miami. In his first year as a starter, he lead the team in interceptions, and helped guide the Patriots to their first Super Bowl appearance.Marion played in 144 career games and finished his career with 656 total tackles, 29 interceptions and 17 forced fumbles. His 29 interceptions are tied for the third most in Patriots history.

Voting for the Hall of Fame will run through May 31, with fans being able to determine the inductee.
