According to undrafted rookie William Yeatman, he has signed a deal with the Patriots. The former University of Maryland tight end announced the news via his Twitter account:

"Alright people I guess the word is out. I'm a New England Patriot!"

At Maryland, the 6-foot-5 270-pound tight end appeared in 11 games in 2010, making 13 receptions for 134 yards and a touchdown.

Yeatman played in 28 games for Notre Dame during his freshman, sophomore and junior seasons before a suspension cut his 2008 season short. He was suspended after being arrested in South Bend during a house party. The arrest violated the terms of a previous arrest for reckless driving and driving while intoxicated.

Yeatman also played lacrosse at both Notre Dame and Maryland.
