The Patriots continued their free agency shopping spree with the signing of former Ravens defensive lineman Lawrence Guy to a four-year contract worth up to $20 million, Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reported.
The 6-foot-5, 300-pound Guy, who turns 27 on March 17, visited the Patriots on Friday. He played in all 16 games for Baltimore last season, seeing 46.4 percent of the defensive snaps. In a Week 14 game against the Patriots, he recorded one quarterback hit and one hurry.
The Patriots retained defensive lineman Alan Branch earlier this week but lost defensive end Jabaal Sheard to the Colts.
