Where does Jimmy Garoppolo stand with the Patriots? Wait, what day is it?
Actually, as CSN Patriots Insider Tom E. Curran has been reporting all along, if the right offer comes along, the Pats are open to trading away their backup QB.

More from Howe's story:
The Patriots are exploring their options among backup quarterbacks who are set to become free agents, according to a source. The only logical explanation for this is they’re laying the groundwork to bring in a third quarterback in the event that they trade backup Jimmy Garoppolo this offseason.
