FOXBORO -- The Patriots have signed their No. 1 draft choice, offensive tackle Nate Solder, and now have all their rookie draftees under contract. He is expected to be at practice with the team on Thursday afternoon. Solder was the 31st of the NFL's 32 first-rounders to agree to their rookie deal. Only the Giants' Prince Amukamara's deal is still undone. Solder's agent, David Dunn, did not immediately return a message. The left tackle out of Colorado has missed a week's worth of practice and meetings. Not helpful during this compressed offseason but not likely anything the four-year Colorado starter who's seen as a polished and intelligent product won't be able to overcome.Earlier Wednesday, we wrote about the confusion caused by the signing of the 20th pick Adrian Clayborn of Tampa Bay. Solder, the 17th overall pick, is the heir apparent to Matt Light at left tackle. Tom E. Curran can be reached at tcurran@comcastsportsnet.com. Follow Tom on Twitter at http:twitter.comtomecurran

Leonard Fournette involved in car accident, not injured

Jacksonville running back Leonard Fournette was involved in a three-car accident Tuesday, but the team and multiple other outlets are reporting the player was not injured.

According to WJCT in Jacksonville, Fournette was not at fault for the accident. He was reportedly rear-ended and then gave his bumper to one of the first responders.

The Jaguars will certainly hope their star rookie is healthy for Sunday's AFC Championship against the Patriots. Fournette suffered an ankle injury in the first half of Sunday's divisional round win over the Steelers but returned for the second half.
