FOXBORO -- The Patriots have signed their No. 1 draft choice, offensive tackle Nate Solder, and now have all their rookie draftees under contract. He is expected to be at practice with the team on Thursday afternoon. Solder was the 31st of the NFL's 32 first-rounders to agree to their rookie deal. Only the Giants' Prince Amukamara's deal is still undone. Solder's agent, David Dunn, did not immediately return a message. The left tackle out of Colorado has missed a week's worth of practice and meetings. Not helpful during this compressed offseason but not likely anything the four-year Colorado starter who's seen as a polished and intelligent product won't be able to overcome.Earlier Wednesday, we wrote about the confusion caused by the signing of the 20th pick Adrian Clayborn of Tampa Bay. Solder, the 17th overall pick, is the heir apparent to Matt Light at left tackle. Tom E. Curran can be reached at tcurran@comcastsportsnet.com. Follow Tom on Twitter at http:twitter.comtomecurran
