Koppen was carted off the field Monday night after a Dolphin rolled over his lower left leg. Dan Connolly replaced Koppen at center and held his own.Asked after the game about the impending loss of Koppen for an extended stretch, Tom Brady said, "Thats tough, man, hes the best. Theres no one like him. I think he and I have a great chemistry between the two of uswe always have. Hes one of my great friends and hopefully hes back at some point. It's been a while since Brady's had someone else snapping the ball to him on a regular basis. Were certainly going to miss him, but at the same time other guys have to have to step in and do the job," said Brady. "I mean, I think thats part of what this games all about is other guys stepping in when theyre called upon and executing just like Koppen was in there."The injury thins the Patriots offensive line even further. They are already without starting right tackle Sebastian Vollmer, who is out with a back injury.
